Autism and A.D.H.D.

From our experience over the last 30 years we are absolutely convinced that these issues are based on a chemical imbalance within each individual and can be controlled by specific diet sheets being created for each INDIVIDUAL which can result in reducing not only specific types of sugars in their diet but also the individuals blood pressure resulting in a much calmer person but more to the point a much happier household.  ( Guidance can be given on this topic).

FOODSTUFFS that can be negative for sufferers of Autism/ ADHD and other behavioural issues are Gluten, certain fructose sugars ( found in many diluting juices, sweets and desserts), some dairy products including certain cheeses and chocolates.

As far as we are concerned each individual has his/her own chemical balance unique to their system only and this is very much taken in to account upon preparation of each diet sheet created for all behavioural issues and indeed issues like I.B.S, Crone’s, Skin issues and  fatique related problems

It has also been noted that each sufferer needs to discover, sometimes with positive  guidance, their latent talent or a natural ‘to them’ interest which most definitely keeps the anxiety levels down. This can also greatly assist in the introduction to learning skills whether on an Educational Level or on a day to day level of coping with different environments.

Once having found these ‘natural’ interests it is extremely important that ‘boundary lines’ are introduced at the start of discovery, which, in the long run allows them to understand ‘future boundary lines’ i.e. so that they stop when asked instead of running across a busy road, or just so that they will listen to a simple request. (Guidance can be given on this topic)

If you plant a seed in your garden, you have to give it the correct food and water it with non poisonous water, train it, create a climbing fence or bean pole for it to grow on and then trim it so that it can continue to be a strong and healthy plant – is there any difference with a growing child or someone who has either never found or lost direction in life?

POSITIVE ACTIVITIES

ART/MUSIC/I.T. PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO ACTIVITIES/ANIMAL CONTACT/SPORT

Out of the activities in the list mentioned above will be one that this form of Sufferer will definitely connect with. But it is incredibly important to have the right person guiding the sufferer during each activity, for example if a Carer’s hobby is Football and not Art then do not ask them to engage in an Art Workshop with the Sufferer.

Once a connection has been discovered with one of the above a time limit must be instilled from the very beginning and a ‘DEAL’ agreed with the sufferer, perhaps by the shaking of a hand and a high five as soon as the allotted time is up. This initiates respect for time and respect for the individual in charge.

With regards Animal contact, an indepth discussion must take place before hand so that the Sufferer can be encouraged to feel how the relevant animal would react under certain circumstances – i.e. SUDDEN MOVEMENTS, LOUD NOISES/SCREAMING, PAIN etc. Please make sure that the Animal’s owner /carer is there at all times, especially at the initial introduction.

ABOVE ALL ELSE please remember there is always something that a troubled or ‘locked in’ individual connects with, so do not give up until you find that key.

Once you have found the key it is extremely important that everyone involved with the sufferer sings from the same hymn sheet until the individual learns to or is able to communicate on a 50 50 level.

IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO FIND THAT KEY FOR YOUR LOVED ONE, THEN PLEASE, FOR THEIR SAKE, ASK US FOR GUIDANCE, DON’T LET THEM CONTINUE TO FEEL ISOLATED, OUSTED, EXCLUDED OR REJECTED FROM SOCIETY .
